Blasts In Mumbai-2

as i tried helping out people or Dead Pulp (in many cases), i realised the intensity of the blast.some of the things that stuck on to me since yesterday
1) a body with three legs. reason-one limb from some other body got fused to this corpse because of the heat of the blast.
2) beggars looking around to see if they could get their hands on some valuables that must have been blown a li'l further away from the blast site.
3) some bodies lying totally unclaimed because they are so mutilated that you dont know how to collect them together.
4) cement bags being used to carry people's bodies. reason- lack of stretchers
5) inability to find out the identity of people simply because the identiity cards have melted and the faces are totally disfigured. in some cases there are no faces.
6) really saddening to call up people n tell their relative is injured or not in a good condition(note that even in cases of death, the news hasnt been given)

went to college, came back by train. i got into the train, not surprisingly people are shaken and absolutely nobody took to the first class coach. i got in, left my bag at one seat n went arounnd to examine the entire bogey for any unclaimed baggage. but little did i kno that my bag in one seat could actually lead to panic. apparently a few people got in but on seeing the bag they got out immediately. when i came back to my seat, i saw people staring inside n finally one man came n told me how i had almost created a Bomb scare. thereafter about 6 people got in to the train. its really sad that Dadar station and especially the Fast local was so empty.

saw the blast scene at Matunga, Mahim, Bandra, Khar, Jogeshwari. by the look of it the matunga one was the most potent one.
it should be recalld that these werent the actual targets. Matunga n Mahim Blasts were meant for Dadar. Khar was meant for bandra. Jogeshwari for Andheri. Borivli was on target n there r some who state that the Mira Road blast was for Bhayander.
its just a li'l better that the blasts didnt take place at Dadar for if it would have, the situation would have been catastrophic. imagine Dadar station on Tuesday evening, apart from being unimaginably crowded, the devotess for Siddhivinayak, it could hav really sparked of riots partially because Dadar is a Shiv Sena stronghold.

if the blast in itself wasnt sufficient, there were more ways to die yesterday for the unfortunate victims. like in Matunga, when the Bomb blasted the roof of the train tore apart, thus the Really High Voltage wires used for the train broke n most commuters on the train and in and around the coach got electricuted.

i just hope the people who were called up to tell them about their relatives being victims find their relatives in good shape and all our phone calls turn out to be false ones.

another important point- people have now started speaking about the spirit of mumbai n mumbaikars resilience, well the point is people have to go on not because they like to take risks but because there is no way out.
